Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to scheduled arrival. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for any reservation cancelled. Cancellations between 30 days and 14 days prior to check-in the deposit to book will turn into a camp credit that will expire 1 year from the original reservation date. Cancellations between 14 days and check-in, the deposit will not be refunded.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the park during regular business hours and confirm cancellation with park staff. Email or voicemail notifications are not accepted.

REFUNDS: Camping is an outdoor experience. No refunds or credits provided due to weather. No refunds or credits will be made for early departures.

VIDEO/CAMERA SURVEILLANCE: Property and buildings are monitored. Customer grants Camp Margaritaville RV Resort, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs of me, my property, and my family/guests in connection with the park. Customer authorizes Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and its affiliates, assigns, and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Camp Margaritaville RV Resort, forever and without compensating me, may use such photographs or videos of me or my image, likeness, voice, actions and/or statements, with or without my name, for any lawful purpose including, but not limited to, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Campsites: Check-in time is 2:00 pm. Check-out time is 12:00 pm. Cabins/Cottages/Rental RV: Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. All campers and visitors must check in at the office upon arrival and receive a vehicle pass. Reservations not paid in full on arrival date are subject to cancellation. 

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Children under 16 must return to their own site by 10:00 p.m.

SPEED LIMIT: 10 mph or less throughout the park.

  • Firearms
  • Disorderly Conduct
  • On-Site Maintenance/Washing
  • Clotheslines
  • Grills on Picnic Tables or Other Park Property
  • Permanent Utility Connections & Stairs
  • No Digging, Poles, or Stakes in Grass
  • Do Not Cover Grass with Mats, Carpet or Tarps
  • No Liquid Waste of Any Kind May Be Dumped
  • No ATVs, Quads, Razors, dirt bikes, or any other 4x4 vehicles that are not street legal (license plate)

RV 15 Year Rule: If an RV or camper is more than 15 years old, a visual inspection is required from a manager to be allowed into the park. If unable to pass visual inspection, park staff have the authority to deny access to any individual. Please email pictures for approval to RVResort@MargaritavilleLanierIslands.com prior to booking. Campers over 15 years old that arrive without prior approval may be denied entry.

OPEN FLAMES: At Camp Margaritaville we prioritize the safety and well-being of our guests and strive to maintain a secure and enjoyable environment for all. To ensure the utmost safety and prevent any potential hazards, we strictly prohibit the use of candles or open flames in both the interior and exterior spaces of our tiny cabins, glamping tent cottages and Rental RV. This policy extends to all forms of open flames, including but not limited to candles, grills, and similar items that can cause damage to the property, including furniture, fixtures, and other amenities.

CAMPERS: Parents/caregivers are responsible for appropriate behavior of their children and for being aware of where their children are and what they are always doing. Children MUST be supervised in bath house and restrooms. Parent/guardian will be held financially liable for damage caused by their children.

BICYCLE, ROLLERBLADES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS: Ride only on roadways and do not ride after dusk. Do not park or ride them on grass, playground, pool area, or through landscaping. Persons under the age of 16 are required to wear a helmet while riding on park grounds.

DRONES: Drones are not permitted anywhere on the Margaritaville at Lanier Islands property for privacy and safety reasons.

VEHICLES: You are permitted to have one RV and two vehicles per assigned campsite. You are permitted 2 vehicles per assigned Cabib/Cottage/Rental RV. Vehicles that do not fit completely on your concrete pad must be parked in the visitor parking area. Do not park on patio, grass, another site, or in the road. Overnight parking of extra vehicles at Resort requires notification of, and written permission of, Resort.

TRAILERS: Boat trailers may be parked at the boat ramp or the designated trailer parking area. Utility trailers must be parked at the designated trailer parking area. Camp Margaritaville RV Resort is not responsible for any damage/theft of trailers or their contents.

GOLF CARTS: All golf carts MUST be registered at check-in, and separate rules and regulations must be signed. All carts must have headlights to be driven at night. A golf cart permit is required and may be obtained in the office. Guests without a valid driver’s license or under the age of 18 are prohibited from driving any golf cart under any circumstances. Privately owned golf carts must verify proof of bodily injury and property damage liability insurance coverage in the amounts of at least $25,000 per injured person/$50,000 per accident/$10,000 property damage.

LAUNDRY FACILITIES: Hours as posted. Do not leave clothes unattended. As a courtesy to other customers, only one washer/dryer set may be used by a party at one time. Please observe any laundry facility guidelines that are posted in the facility.

GARBAGE: Please keep your site tidy. STACK and TIE garbage and place it at or near curb by your site by 9:45 a.m. For your convenience, we also have a dumpster area that is marked on the map provided at check-in. Please close the dumpster lids after each use to prevent wildlife intrusion. If the park staff clean your site, there will be an extra charge. The trash compactor is not for Guest use, so please use rolling trash cans located outside of the trash compactor enclosures. On-site garbage receptacles are for normal household-type garbage only.

CAMPSITE WATER HYDRANTS: Our water hydrants at the campsites are frost proof; however, water must be turned off with hoses disconnected from the hydrant and camper when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The customer is financially responsible for any frozen hydrants and damage due to non-compliance.

FIREWOOD, FIREPITS, FIREPLACES: Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Please do not stack firewood on grass and do not cut down trees. Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits and must always be attended to. Absolutely no burning of garbage, paper, cans, glass, etc. in your firepit or fireplace. Firewood only. Please do not overload! Fireplaces are designed for campfires only, not bonfires. Excessive heat may cause damage to firepits. Damage to the fireplace will be the financial responsibility of the customer. Please note that all other firepits, including portable gas firepits, are prohibited.

BOAT RAMP: Boat ramp is only for use of registered customers. Please remove your vehicle from the ramp promptly after loading or unloading. All trailers must be registered with the office and may only be parked in designated spaces. Please check with the office if you need assistance with trailer and boat storage.

MAIL SERVICES: There is no mail service on the property. We ask that you please make alternate arrangements.

EMERGENCY PHONES: For any life-threatening emergency please dial 911 and promptly let the Margaritaville security or office know. Please call security at 470-663-2220 for any after-hours emergencies. Please call the office at 470-323-3487 during normal business operating hours.

OCCUPANCY: MAXIMUM of 8 people allowed (including registered guests and visitors) per campsite at any time. The maximum occupancy for Cabins/Cottages/Rental RV varies based on type of unit and is stated in your reservation. Please do not exceed these limits.

PETS: Pets are limited to 2 per campsite and not allowed in the Cabins/Cottages/Rental RV. Only non-aggressive pets allowed. Must be on a maximum 6’ length leash. Must be current on all vaccines. May not be left outside when owners are away from site or park, nor may they be left inside RV to continually bark. Excessive barking, growling, or any aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If your pet is not under control, you may be asked to leave the park without a refund. Other than service dogs, pets are not allowed in buildings or pool areas. Do not tie your pet to park property including trees and picnic tables. Please clean up after your pet and properly dispose of all pet waste/litter in proper receptacles. NO DISPLAY OF PET CAGES OR FENCES.

WATER & LIFE JACKETS:  As a company, we prioritize the safety of our guests above all else. After careful consideration, we have decided to no longer offer swimming in the lake area located in the Margaritaville at Lanier Islands Water Park and LandShark Landing facilities. Lake access is available in a controlled environment via our Aquatic Adventure Wibit Attraction, as well as our kayak and paddleboard rentals at LandShark Landing. Within the dock and Water Park limits no skiing, swimming, or diving allowed. Lake Lanier is overall a swim at your own risk and life jackets are strongly recommended for all ages when swimming in any area of the lake. 

VISITOR POLICIES: Anyone not registered to a site at check-in will be considered a visitor. All visitors must register and obtain a car permit at the office before entering the park. Cars parked without a valid permit are subject to towing at any time, at the customer or visitor’s expense. Permit must be visible on dash. Visitor parking is in designated parking areas only. Day visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. Visitors may be restricted during periods of high occupancy. Registered customers are responsible for their visitors and will be held financially responsible for any damage to park property. Please make sure your guests are aware of the community rules. Those who do not comply will be considered trespassing.

CAUTION: Please enter the park with care and safety. Damage by a customer or your visitor to park property is the financial responsibility of the customer.

ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS: MUST be reported to management immediately.

SITE RESERVATIONS: Specific site location reservations are not guaranteed unless the $20 lock site fee is paid. The park will make every attempt to accommodate your request. However, site assignment or parking arrangements may change at the prerogative of the Resort throughout term of this lease, for safety and the overall efficiency of operation. Guest shall not modify or add to site in any manner without written consent from Resort.

CAMPER/RV: All units must be factory manufactured only. RV’s and vehicles must be in kept in good working condition with no leaks of any kind. RV’s may be prohibited from entering the Resort if found to be in non-compliance of, mechanical, health, or safety codes. If a mechanical defect or emergency places the property of the Guest or any other Guest’s property in danger, Guest grants Resort the right, but not the responsibility, to take such action as Resort, in its sole discretion, deems necessary to safeguard any property located within the Resort. Guest agrees to pay Resort for all reasonable expenses, which Resort incurred on behalf of Guest. Guests MUST be able to move their own RV out of the resort within 24-hour notice and immediately during emergencies.

SUB-LEASE: Subleasing of RV sites or campers is prohibited.

VENDORS: No sale or solicitation of any products including, but not limited to, souvenirs, food, or merchandise. “For Sale” signs permitted only on private campers/vehicles with Resort pre-approval. For security reasons, known Brokers or Guests shall accompany any prospective purchaser in the Resort to view RV.

UTILITIES & WASTE: Sewer connections are provided for all RVs at every site. Use of rubber donut or watertight collar is required on all sewer connections to allow proper gravity drainage. These are available for purchase at the park office if needed. There are no dump stations. It is contrary to local, State, and Federal laws to discharge any chemical, household gray water, or sanitary waste (treated or untreated) anywhere except into the approved sewer system. Guest agrees to abide by, and have his RV adhere to, all Federal, State, local, TWRA, TVA, and Corp of Engineers laws, regulations, rules, statutes, regulations, and requirements. Resort shall have the right, but not the obligation, to inspect all RVs at the Resort to determine compliance with the above requirements or RV’s mechanical status. Guest agrees to remove RV immediately from the Resort at Guest’s own expense if found by Resort to be in violation of any of the above laws, or otherwise in an unsafe, non-drivable condition and to indemnify Resort for any liability or fines incurred because of such violations. The opening or discharge within the Resort of any regulated materials, paints, thinners, solvents, waste, sewage, or petroleum products of any type or in any amount, and all other activity negatively impacting water quality is prohibited! Guests shall pay as additional rent, any separately metered electrical service. Surcharges may be charged for certain services, utilities, or multi-vehicle parking at discretion of Resort.

INDEMNITY & NOTICE: Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and its affiliates, agents, employees, and representatives are not responsible and assume no liability for any event of loss due to fire, theft, accidents, acts of God, or any other loss, whether injury or loss of property. Additionally, all persons (including visitors) registered to a site agree to release, defend, and indemnify Camp Margaritaville RV Resort and its affiliates, agents, employees, and representatives from any and all injuries, claims, or damages (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising directly or indirectly (unless by Resort’s intentional misconduct) out of: (a) the use of the park or its amenities including, but not limited to, buildings, firepits, golf carts, pools, and lake/beach access areas; (b) such’s person breach of this agreement; or (c) such person’s use or storage of RV(s) or other property at the Resort. Park staff reserves the right to refuse service to or evict anyone, without prior notice, who creates a disturbance, nuisance, or deliberately breaks any of the park’s policies. Eviction will be immediate and without reimbursement of any fees.

INSURANCE: (Within this document, “Resort” is defined as; all property, owned, leased, or controlled by Guest and area within the “harbor limits: as shown on TWRA maps). Guest shall furnish certificate of insurance for its RV upon commencement of this lease and maintain such coverage during the entire lease period, or this lease may be subject to immediate termination at Resort’s sole discretion. Resort does not carry insurance covering the property of the Guest. Guests park at their own risk! Guest shall forever protect, hold harmless, and indemnify Resort against all claims or liabilities of any kind caused by, or to the owner, owners RV or other property, including personal injuries, death, or the loss, damage or theft, or other property that arises directly or indirectly from the use or storage of RV(s) or other property at the Resort.
