Terms of Service
I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies published at www.clevelandjellystone.com, posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Jellystone Park™ management.
Deposits & Cancellations:
Camping is an outdoor activity; therefore we do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Please also understand that we schedule staff and plan activities based on reservations. We cannot be held responsible for weather, illness, work schedules, or other situations impacting our guests and therefore, enforce our cancellation policy regardless of circumstances.
Campsite Check-in: 1pm/Check-out: 12pm. Cabin Check-in: 4pm/Check-out: 11am. All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking. There is a 2-night minimum on all advanced reservations (3-night minimum on all Holiday reservations). No refunds after check-in. Reservation fee and lock-in fee are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
Cancellations
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the check-in date.
Campsites: We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel EIGHT (8) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel SEVEN (7) days or less of your arrival date, your full deposit will be forfited.
Lodging: We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if your cancel FIFTEEN (15) or more days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel FOURTEEN (14) days or less of your arrival date, your full deposit will be forfited.
Holidays: We will return your deposit minus a $30 service charge if you cancel THIRTY (30) or more days prior to yourarrival date. We do not refund holiday deposits on cancellations made TWENTY-NINE (29) days or less or your arrival date. Please make sure you schedule your hoilday reservations carefully.
All camping credits issued expire at the end of the 2022 season.
Waiver of Liability:
As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE P and T LLCt/a Jellystone Park™Camp-Resort Cleveland or any of its subsidiaries from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Jellystone Park property, facilities, golf carts, amenities, pool, fishing piers, and jumping pad (collectively, the Premises).
I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Jellystone Park Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Jellystone Park Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
The Premises are privately owned and THE JELLYSTONE PARK MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE to anyone for any reason except for those prohibited by law. Jellystone Park Management reserves the right to ask any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the campground based on violations of Park Rules or behavior management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Jellystone Park Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay. On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Jellystone Park and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose without compensation.
Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19:
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, participation could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

By signing this agreement, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participation; and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 a Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone's employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.
I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my participation at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone nn my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone
I represent that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or illness I may suffer or cause while participating in this activity, or else! agree to bear the costs of such injury or illness myself. I further represent that I have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume and bear the costs of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.
In the event that I file a lawsuit, I agree to do so in the state where Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone is located, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
By signing this document, I agree that if I am exposed or infected by COVD-19 during my participation in this activity, then I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against the parties being released on the basis of any claim for negligence.
I have had sufficient time to read this entire document and, should I choose to do so, consult with legal counsel prior to signing. Also, I understand that this activity might not be made available to me or that the cost to engage in this activity would be significantly greater if I were to choose not to sign this release, and agree that the opportunity to participate at the stated cost in retum for the execution of this release is a reasonable bargain. I have read and understood this document and I agree to be bound by its terms.
I have signed a separate general waiver of liability connected to my participation at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone. I agree that the terms of that waiver are wholly incorporated into this document and that the terms of this document are incorporated into the separate general waiver.
I agree that I will practice safe social distancing and clean hygiene during my participation at Cleveland/Sandusky Jellystone.
I understand and agree to the Additional Terms as follows:
Visitor Policy:
Visitors must be registered at the Ranger Station upon arrival. Registered campers must meet their visitors at Ranger Station for registration. Visitors must pay a visitor fee upon arrival. Registered campers must be on site with their visitors at all times. Registered campers are responsible for their visitors. Visitors may not bring pets onto Jellystone Park property.
Pet Friendly Policy:
Pets must be kept on leash and attended to. Please clean up after them, and control barking so as to be considerate of other campers. No exotic or vicious animals allowed. Pets are not allowed in the pool area or on the playground.
PLEASE NOTE:
A camper is not a tenant but an occupant/lodger on a day to day basis. A camper has no property or possessors right in the campsite being occupied. Express permission is given to charge credit/debit card for any balance due at check-out. Outside firewood is not permitted. Firewood can be purchased at the Ranger Station. Speed limit is 5mph and is strictly enforced. Pedestrians have the right of way on roads. Quiet hours are 11pm-8am. Respect your fellow campers. Please remember that this is a family resort and that appropriate language, behavior and attire must be maintained at all times.
Aquatics and Wibit
RELEASE OF LIABILITY: In consideration of being allowed to use the facilities and participate in the Wibit Watersport Structure and other activities provided by CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK, the Participant and/or the Participant's parent or legal guardian (if the Participant is a minor) do hereby agree as follows:
I, the undersigned Participant, am using CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment and participating in activities including, but not limited to, the Wibit Watersport Structure, playground and jumping pillow, at my own risk. I understand and acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved with the Activities, including, but not limited to, bruises, scrapes, lacerations, burns, sprains, fractured or broken bones, as well as other head/brain, face, neck, back/spine injuries, up to and including drowning and death. I am also aware that using or participating in the Activities requires physical exertion and such exertion on the body may reinjure or aggravate pre-existing physical injuries, conditions, or congenital defects. I voluntarily assume these risks by signing below and participating in the Activities.
IN CONSIDERATION OF THE FEE PAID BY ME, AND IN FULL RECOGNITION OF THE INHERENT RISKS INVOLVED WITH THE ACTIVITIES, WHICH RISKS I VOLUNTARILY ASSUME, I HEREBY INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS AND RELEASE CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK, ITS MEMBERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, OWNERS AND/OR OPERATORS (COLLECTIVELY, “CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK STAFF”), FROM ALL INJURIES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, DEMANDS, AND/OR CAUSES OF ACTION (COLLECTIVELY, “CLAIMS”), FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY, INCLUDING DROWNING AND DEATH, WHETHER SUSTAINED BY MYSELF, A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY OR MY PROPERTY HOWEVER CAUSED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FAULT OR NEGLIGENCE (EXCEPT GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL/WANTON OR INTENTIONAL CONDUCT, OR ILLEGAL ACTS) BY CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK AND/OR CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK STAFF IN CONNECTION, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, WITH THE ACTIVITIES. THIS RELEASE SHALL BE BINDING UPON ME, MY HEIRS, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND/OR ASSIGNS.
I understand and acknowledge that anyone under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian (over the age of 18) while participating on the Wibit Watersport Structure. Parent or guardian is responsible for supervising minor child(ren) and making sure they follow all guidelines set forth by this agreement. Children under five years of age are not eligible to participate in the Wibit Watersport Structure.
I further agree that I am personally liable and responsible for paying CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK for any and all damage to CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK property that I may cause, whether caused negligently, recklessly or intentionally, while using or participating in the Activities, including, but not limited to, damage to any CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment or other CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK property, any loss of CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment or loss of use of equipment, any claims for diminution in value of any CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment, and/or the cost of repair or replacing any CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment. I authorize CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK, at CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK’S discretion, to bill any such charges or costs directly to my credit card or to my account without further notice to me.
I understand and acknowledge that CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK and the Activities are self-guided, and that I am required to attend a mandatory safety rules video briefing prior to using or participating in any of the Activities. I understand that CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK Staff are available to answer any questions I may have regarding CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK equipment and/or proper use of such equipment. I further understand and acknowledge that I am required to wear a Coast Guard approved lifejacket at all times while using or participating on the Wibit Watersport Structure. If I am unwilling or unable to follow the safety rules or wear a lifejacket while using or participating in the Activities, I understand and acknowledge that CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK, at CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK’s discretion, may immediately restrict my use of or participation in the Activities and/or require me to leave the CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK premises. I acknowledge that once I have completed the safety rules briefing, no refunds will be made for CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK or the Activities.
I also release CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK to use any and all photos taken that of me or my dependent while in CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK area. I understand that these photos will be used in future marketing or may be posted to CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK website.
This Release shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. I agree that any Claims I may bring against CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of COUNTY AND STATE and that no Claims against CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK shall be brought in any other jurisdiction. I also agree that if any part of this Release is deemed unenforceable, all remaining parts shall remain in full force and effect. I agree that CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK has made no warranties, expressed or implied, to me beyond those, if any, contained in this Release.
RULES AND REGULATIONS: All persons must follow these rules while at CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK
• Each guest or an authorized guardian for children under 18 years of age must complete a CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK Release of Liability form before starting the course
• Guests must wear a USCG Personal Flotation Device (Provided) and keep it buckled and zipped at all time
• Sharp objects (such as jewelry, hair pins, etc.) or other dangerous materials are not permitted
• Tobacco and alcohol are not permitted anywhere in the park or beach areas
• No refunds will be granted.
• Anyone who appears to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate in the CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK
• Pregnant women are prohibited from going on the CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK course
• The Host reserves the right to remove anyone who disregards the safety rules. There will be no refunds if such action is required.
• CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK reserves the right to close the CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK without refund at any time due to inclement weather deemed unsafe for guests
• Cell phones are prohibited on Wibit Watersport Structure. Please make appropriate arrangements for these and other personal items before entering the course. The Host may not be held responsible for lost or damaged personal items. Absolutely no one is allowed to dive under Wibit Watersport Structure to retrieve a lost item.
• Failure to abide by posted CLEVELAND/SANDUSKY JELLYSTONE PARK rules may result in revoked privileges to participate
I, THE UNDERSIGNED PARTICIPANT, HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I UNDERSTAND THAT BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AND USING OR PARTICIPATING IN THE ACTIVITIES THAT I HAVE WAIVED AND SURRENDERED CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS. I HAVE SIGNED THIS AGREEMENT VOLUNTARILY.
