Terms of Service

GENERAL PARK HOURS, RULES, & POLICIES:

  • Summer office hours are 9:00am-5:00pm on Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm on Saturday-Sunday
  • Check In at 2:00pm and Check Out at 12:00pm for RV sites, Elevated Glamping, Deluxe Tenting 
  • Check In at 4:00pm and Check Out at 12:00pm for Tiny Home Rentals 
  • Speed Limit is 5 MPH within the campground at all times  
  • Laundry and Showers are open 24 hours a day.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 P.M. – 8:00 A.M.
  • As the holder of the registered credit card, you accept responsibility for other occupants in your site/rental unit. 
  • Any damage caused to our sites/units during your stay will be charged to the credit card on file.

TINY HOME RENTAL RULES & POLICIES:

  • Cleaning Fee: there is a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100 per reservation. 
  • Security Deposit: there is a refundable security deposit of $100 at time of reservation. This will be refunded to your credit card if the accommodations are left in good order within 3 business days after check out. 
  • Damages: if any damage is discovered on the property, encompassing furniture, fixtures, flooring, appliances, and exterior, your credit card will be charged for any additional expenses beyond the initial security deposit.
  • Smoking and Vaping are strictly prohibited inside any of our Tiny Home rental units. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $500.00, automatically charged to your credit card. 
  • Pets are prohibited inside any of our Tiny Home rental units. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $500.00, automatically charged to your credit card.
  • Please note: accessing the loft beds necessitate navigating steep stairs or ladders, requiring good mobility and agility. For safety reasons, if you are unable to comfortably ascend and descend a tall ladder or steep stairs, we kindly request that you refrain from booking this accommodation.
  • Check out procedures: please replace any furniture that was moved, place used linens/blankets/towels in a pile on the floor, wash any dishes and put away, remove food from the fridge, double check all personal belongings have been collected, turn lights and appliances off, ensure all windows and doors are closed and locked, remove trash and put in park dumpster, and complete check out slip and drop off at office.

ELEVATED GLAMPING SITES:

  • Damages: if any damage is found to the property, which includes but is not limited to: furniture, fixtures, tent, and exterior, your credit card will be charged for all costs incurred from the damage. 
  • Smoking and Vaping are strictly prohibited inside any of our Tiny Home rental units. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $500.00, automatically charged to your credit card. 
  • Pets are prohibited inside any of our Tiny Home rental units. Violation of this policy will result in an additional cleaning fee of $500.00, automatically charged to your credit card.
  • Please note: There is an electrical outlet (gray electrical box) to the right of the entrance in the Elevated Glamping area if you would like to charge your cell phones or any electrical devices. We have two benches and a propane fire pit in a common area for your use.  The propane fire pit is for Outdoor Use Only and is NEVER to be placed inside the tent. 
  • Check out procedures: please place all items back in tent (coolers, chairs, etc.), place used linens/blankets in a pile on the floor, double check all personal belongings have been collected, zip up tent door, and remove trash and put in park dumpster, and complete check out slip and drop off at office.

PETS ALLOWED ONLY ON RV & DELUXE TENTING SITES:

  • Pets must be on a leash at all times. 
  • Pets are not allowed outside unattended without owner.
  • Pets need to be well behaved and not a noise nuisance.
  • Pets owners are required to clean up immediately after them.
  • City & Borough of Juneau Laws apply to all pets and owners.
  • No pets are permitted in the Tiny Homes or Elevated Glamping Tent sites. 

WILDLIFE:

  • Please do not feed the bears or any other wildlife. 
  • Store all food and beverages inside vehicle or in the food cache located at the front office.
  • Barbecue grills must be completely cleaned after every use.
  • Store all garbage inside your vehicle or place in our park dumpster.

NOT PERMITTED in the park:

  • Generators unless there is a power outage.
  • Washing of RV’s or vehicles with or without soap/bleach due to wetlands.
  • Dumping of oil/toxic chemicals/gasoline/diesel is prohibited.
  • Burning of trash anywhere in the park.
  • Oil changes or vehicle repair work.
  • Open fires except for in designated fire pits.
  • Smoking or Vaping inside of any of our facilities is prohibited.
  • Parking in vacant sites.

CANCELLATION AND PAYMENT POLICY:  Any payment made with our company is fully refundable 8 days or more prior to your arrival date, with the exception of a $5 campground fee. If the reservation is cancelled between 7-4 days prior to arrival date, 50% of total price becomes non-refundable. If the reservation is cancelled 3 days or less prior to arrival date, 100% of total price becomes non-refundable. If you do need to cancel the reservation for any reason prior to your arrival date, we require all cancellation requests in writing by email. Glacier Nalu, LLC strongly recommends all clients carry travel insurance in order to safeguard against any unanticipated changes to travel plans.  Note: Ferries may be late and/or cancelled; we do accommodate valid changes due to ferry, mechanical, or medical issues. (Documentation will be required).  No refunds will be given due to inclement weather or early departures.
