Hilltop Resorts and Campgrounds

The following rules and regulations have been established to assure the enjoyment, safety, and consideration of everyone at the resort. Failure to comply with rules and regulations may result in eviction without refund.

RV/CAMPSITES CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00PM / CAMPSITE CHECK-OUT TIME: 11:00AM

RENTAL ACCOMMODATIONS CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00PM / CABIN CHECK-OUT TIME: 11:00AM

EARLY CHECK-IN / EXTENDED CHECK-OUT
Call in advance for availability. $5.00/hour for campsites, $15.00/hour for rental accommodations.

RESPONSIBLE PARTY
The registered guest responsible for the unit/site must be at least 18 years of age and must provide valid government-issued photo identification at the time of check-in. That person must remain on-site for the duration of the reservation.

ADDITIONAL CAMPER GUESTS
Additional guest fees will be applicable beyond 2 adults and 2 child per site.

QUIET HOURS - 11:00PM to 8:00AM
Quiet hours are to be observed from 11:00PM to 8:00AM. All children must be at their own site by 11:00PM. Generators, diesel engines, and bright exterior lighting may not operate during quiet hours. The recreation area and playground close at 9:00 PM or dusk, whichever comes first. No loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct will be tolerated. No day visitors during quiet hours.

VISITORS
Visitors are welcome during your stay. All Visitors must register at the office, pay the visitors fee, and obtain a car pass before entering the campground resort. Gate Cards are to be used by registered campers guests only. Campers Guests are responsible for the registration, behavior, and payment of their Visitors. Day visits are considered more than 45 minutes and day visitors must depart the resort before quiet hours begin. Fees include access to all activities and amenities at the park resort. Parking is limited and not guaranteed to be available for Visitors. Be aware that your Visitors may have to park and walk to your site. We ask that Visitors please do not bring their pets. Visitors cannot remain at the park after guests have checked out.

Visitor Rates :
Children 6-18 - $3.00 per day / $5.00 per night 
Adults - $5.00 per day / $10.00 per night 

CONDUCT
Hilltop Resorts is a family-oriented resort.  All guest and their visitors are required to conduct themselves in a family-friendly manner at all times. Loud, boisterous, or profane language will not be tolerated. 

QUIET HOURS
Quiet to be maintained from 11:00PM to 8:00AM. All children must be at their own site by 11:00PM. Generators, diesel engines, and bright exterior lighting may not operate during quiet hours. The recreation area and playground close at 9:00

PM or dusk, whichever comes first. No loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct will be tolerated. No visitors during quiet hours.

SPEED LIMIT 
The speed limit in the resort is 5 MPH. All vehicles must stay on designated roadways and parking areas. Off-road driving is not permitted.

COMFORT STATION
Restroom and shower facilities are available at the resort. Due to the Board of Health Regulations, animals are prohibited in the restrooms. Washing dishes in the restrooms and/or shower facilities is prohibited.

DAMAGE/LOSS
Registered guests will be liable for the full cost of any damage caused by the guest (or their visitors) to the property or facilities. Guests will also be charged for any items missing from rental units after checkout.

LOST KEYS
A $25 charge will be applied to the credit card on file for unreturned keys.

TENTS ON SITES
With prior approval, on some sites, where space is available, additional tents are permitted with a fee of $25 per night.

CHILDREN
Children are welcome at Hilltop Resorts! Children under 8 (eight) should be directly supervised by an adult at all times. Parents/guardians are responsible for their children’s safety and behavior.

PETS
Well-behaved, vaccinated dogs and cats are welcome at Hilltop Resorts. For all sites allowing dogs, there are a limit of two (2) dogs per site. All dogs must always be kept on a leash, unless in the dog park or inside your unit. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time. Due to regulations, dogs are not permitted in the recreation area, restrooms, showers, or any resort building unless they are certified service dogs. Animals may not be tethered to utility fixtures. Animal waste must be picked up by the pet owner immediately. Dogs must be under control at all times for the safety of all guests. Owners may be asked to remove aggressive, uncontrolled, or constantly barking dogs from the property at any time. Dogs may be rinsed with water only (no soap) on sites.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
All state/federal laws apply. Alcoholic beverage consumption is restricted to those 21 or older. Excessively loud, combative, belligerent, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated at any time. Drink responsibly. Beer kegs are not permitted. 

MOTORBIKES & ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
Motorbikes & electric scooters are permitted only when used as transportation to and from the site by a licensed driver. Privately owned Golf Carts are permitted, must comply with all park rules, and be registered with the park office. ATV’s are not to be driven in the Resort. Children with electric cars must always be accompanied by an adult.

LAUNDRY
Laundry facilities are located in the shower house. Please do not leave laundry unattended past the end of the wash/dry cycles.  Do not allow children to play in the laundry room.

FIREWORKS
Fireworks of any type, including sparklers, are prohibited on the Hilltop Resorts property.

TREES
Trees and the shade they provide are an integral part of an enjoyable camping experience. However, even healthy, and well-maintained, trees pose a natural hazard of falling debris, such as leaves and branches, especially during windy and/or extreme weather conditions. We do not assume responsibility for these natural hazards or for any property damage, injury, or other circumstances that may result.

FIREWOOD
Cutting or trimming of trees is prohibited. Firewood is sold at the store. Due to issues surrounding devastating invasive species, all firewood must be purchased on site. For more information on invasive species visit https://www.ohioforest.org/page/Invasive.  Clotheslines, hammocks, or other items attached to trees are not permitted.

CAMPFIRES
Controlled campfires are permitted in designated fire rings/pits. Fires must be supervised while burning and then fully extinguished. Only firewood (purchased on site) and charcoal should be burned. Please do burn trash. Fire rings/pits may not be relocated.

WILDLIFE
Please help us keep wildlife wild.  Do not leave food or garbage unattended at your site. Please do not feed or engage with critters that happen wander upon your campsite, if left alone they will wander off just like they came.

WATER USAGE
Washing of trailers or vehicles not permitted. Our staff can direct you to the nearest appropriate facility.

WEAPONS
Possession of weapons such as firearms, knives, chains, bow & arrows, bb guns, etc. while outside of a personal camping vehicle is not permitted on the property.

TRASH
Help us keep our property clean and practice Leave No Trace principles by depositing all garbage in the dumpster and recycling bins located near the bathhouse. Recycle aluminum, paper, glass, tin & plastic.

GRILLS
Propane grills are provided at each cabin unit. Fire cooking is permitted in provided fire pits. Personal charcoal and propane grills are permitted. Please do not place small grills on the picnic tables. Please use responsibly.

THEFT AND LOSS
Campers Guests are responsible for securing their personal property, including, but not limited to, their campers and contents, vehicles, tents, or any other personal property. The campground, its owner, agents, and employees are not responsible or liable for theft or loss of any kind, nor damage caused by acts of God, fires, floods, windstorms, explosions, lightning strikes, accidents, or vandalism. Campers Guests are responsible for maintaining insurance on their campers, vehicles, and personal property.

SMOKING
No Smoking, Vaping, Tobacco Use, Etc. in any Hilltop Resorts building or the recreation area. A cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to the credit card on file if there is smoking in a rental unit.

CONSTRUCTION / MAINTENANCE
Hilltop Resorts may close certain sites and areas of the property for landscaping and maintenance throughout the season. For your safety, please respect all areas blocked off with cones, caution tape, or other restricted access markings.

AFTER-HOURS ASSISTANCE
For Emergencies, call 911. For urgent, immediate needs (plumbing issues, dangerous situations, unit access problems, etc.) between 6:00 PM and 9:00 AM, call the After-Hours Assistance number (855) 544-5586 and choose the Option for After hours

CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so online within your cancellation window. A $10 cancellation fee will be deducted from your deposit. Please note that the cancellations made after the cancellation window will result in forfeiture of the deposit paid. 

From the time you cancel, it may take 7-14 days for the refund to show in your account. If it takes longer than that, please contact your bank or credit card company. Your refund is processed by our reservarion system as soon as the reservation is cancelled. We do not have control on how long the payment processor or the bank takes to refund the money to you.

CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION WINDOWS

RV & Tent Sites: 72 hours cancellation notice required. 

Glamping (Tipis, deluxe tents): 7 days cancellation notice required. 

Cabins and Wagons: 7 days cancellation notice required. 

Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. 

Please note that camping is an outdoor activitiy. No refunds for cancelation due to weather or early departures please. 

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Hilltop Resorts & Campgrounds reserves the right to update Rules and Regulations at any time.
