Campground Policies

  • Vehicles: You are allowed two vehicles per site. No parking on roads. Every vehicle must display a car pass.
  • Speed limit is 5 MPH
  • Quiet time is between 10:30 p.m. - 8:00 AM - Music off by 11:00pm
  • Bicycles/skateboards/scooters/rip sticks/ect.: Must be put away at dark.
  • For safety reasons no child motorized scooters/child motorized vehicles/minibikes/ATV’s/fireworks, etc. allowed in the park.
  • NO DRIVING GOLF CARTS FROM Midnight - 6:30 a.m.
  • Clothes lines: Not allowed.
  • ALL VISITORS must register in the office and receive a car pass. Day time passes are valid until 10:30 p.m. RATE: $5/adult/day or $10/adult/overnight, children 0-17 are free accompanied with adult.
  • Pets: All Pets must always be kept on a leash. Pets must NEVER be left alone. The owner is also responsible for cleanup & keeping his/her pet quiet. If management must warn anyone more than once you will be asked to remove pet or leave your pet at home. All pets must have current rabies shot. Owners must be able to provide proof of shot records upon request. Pets are not allowed in any buildings on the property or on the beach, apart from service dogs. No aggressive breeds. (Pit Bull, Rottweiler & Doberman's, Etc.)
  • Playgrounds: Children must always be supervised. We are not responsible for injuries or accidents.
  • Fires in fire rings only/please.
  • Each site has a picnic table, please do not move tables from site to site.
  • Please keep your site clean of trash and litter.
  • Golf carts are the ONLY motorized vehicles allowed at OCC. We have carts available for rent during your stay, please contact the office for more information and pricing. You may bring in your own electric or 4-stroke golf cart…a trail fee of $50 for the season and proof of insurance is REQUIRED to operate your cart on OCC property. ATV’s, 4-wheelers, Gators, side-by-sides, etc. are NOT allowed in the park.
  • Security: security is provided on the weekends. Call 715-829-2267 for security.

Golf cart rental information and policy:

NO DRIVING GOLF CARTS FROM Midnight - 6:30 a.m. Please respect all campers while driving around by turning music down by 10:30pm. Let walkers, bikers, vehicles, and kids go before you. Slow down.

There are 2 categories of golf cart information and policies:

Golf Carts rented from OCC:

  • Must be 21 years of age or more to rent & drive the cart.  Per OCC insurance policy.
  • Drivers must have valid driver's license and have proof of insurance.
  • Unlicensed drivers are NOT ALLOWED to operate carts on O’Neil Creek Campground property.
  • Driver MUST provide valid driver’s license when requested.
  • Never, can a child sit on your lap or steer the golf cart.
  • No pets on cart. No smoking on cart.
  • Please follow the arrows on the roads and drive in the correct directions.
  • Renting person is responsible for any damages and repair costs. Cart will be taken away if any violation is to be found.
  • A $200 fine will be charged to your account for any violation and be paid to the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
  • NO DRIVING GOLF CARTS FROM Midnight - 6:30 a.m.
  • Using your golf cart at OCC is a privilege. Please do not abuse our rules.

Golf Carts brought in by Visiting Campers:

  • Visiting golf cart fee is a one time/summer fee of $50. It is a requirement that you must provide the office with proof of insurance and abide by campground rules/policies.
  • Please display a season pass and current site # on front of window.
  • Drivers must have valid driver's license.
  • Unlicensed drivers are NOT ALLOWED to operate carts on O’Neil Creek Campground property.
  • Driver MUST provide valid driver’s license when requested.
  • Young adults that have received their learner’s permit (temps), may drive with a licensed driver (ie. parent), seated in the front seat. Licensed driver must be at least 18 years old.
  • A $200 fine will be charged to your account for any violation and be paid to the Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
  • No more than 5 people on the cart at a time.
  • NO DRIVING GOLF CARTS FROM Midnight - 6:30 a.m.
  • Must be 4-stroke gas or electric-powered.
  • Never, can a child sit on your lap or steer the golf cart.
  • Please follow the arrows on the roads and drive in the correct directions.
  • Adult Motorized Scooters are allowed to go in and out of the park, but NOT to drive in the park, site to site.
  • Using your golf cart at OCC is a privilege. Please do not abuse our rules.

Facility Services:

  • Garbage: Dumpsters are available at the park entrance/exit. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • Firewood is available at the Office/Store, $7.00 per bundle. We deliver if requested. If you do bring in your own wood, PLEASE make sure it’s firewood from within 10 miles of the property and NOT from quarantined areas. DNR-Firewood Map Insects and diseases are easily transported in and on firewood. This could have a devastating effect on the property for the next generation of campers.
  • Ice is also available at the Office/Store, 6 lbs for $3.00 | 20 lbs for $7.00. We deliver if requested.
  • Please, no smoking in or near the Laundry Mat, Restrooms, Office/Store, Canteen, Arcade or building entrances or on the beach.
  • The laundry mat is located at the south shower building (by Canteen).
  • Shower buildings are located at each side of the creek, both are open 24 hours. Showers are free (5 minute time limit). Please respect others by cleaning up after yourself. Please assist and supervise children.

Please remember that this is a privately owned campground. The campground owners and employees are not responsible for accidents or injuries to campers, guests or their property or the loss of valuables of any kind. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to interpret and enforce all the rules for the benefit, security and safety of all.

Management reserves the right to evict any and all violators of the Rules and Regulations without refunds and to remove persons or animals which are considered detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of management or others using the campground and facilities. It is further agreed that any breach by the camper or camper's guests of the Rules and Regulations shall constitute grounds for immediate eviction from the campground with no refund of fees.

Photos, video, and other media taken during your stay may be used in promotional pieces.

LIABILITY WAIVER. Campers who decide to stay at the Campground are aware that the Campground cannot guarantee that the sanitary and other measures employed by the Campground will prevent COVID 19 or any other infectious disease. Campers agree that they stay at the Campground at their own risk. Campers agree that Campground is not liable to Campers for infections sustained or experienced by the Camper. In the event that Camper should, notwithstanding this waiver, assert any claim against the Campground, Camper waives any right to trial by jury. Any claim shall be heard in arbitration conducted according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association, applying the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
