    Join Friends of Clayoquot Sound for the 2020 Clayoquot Salmon Festival, August 28 – September 5. The Clayoquot Salmon Festival has been an annual event in Tofino and around Clayoquot Sound since 2014 uniting culture, arts, and education with environmental stewardship to celebrate the integral role of salmon on the west coast. The Festival aims to offer Pacific Rim visitors and residents an opportunity to reflect upon, and build an active appreciation for, the irreplaceable value of salmon in Clayoquot Sound. The events are designed to offer something for everyone, from elders to youth.   • Queen Of The Peak

    Queen Of The Peak

    2020 marks the 11th Queen of the Peak! This all-female surf competition was created in 2009 to celebrate and showcase the amazing female surf talent here on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The contest itself spans over 3 days in Tofino, Canada and offers amenities to competitors including a complimentary welcome dinner, free childcare, free beachside massages and more. More than 100 women and girls compete on the waves for cash and prizes in Longboard, Shortboard and Princess of the Peak divisions. This community event has grown to include fun accompanying events such as yoga on the beach, a movie premiere, and dance party! Click here for event details.

    In the low season, any stays of 2 nights or more will receive a 10% discount off of their site cost and 10% off the cost of their surf lesson with Pacific Surf School. Offer available when booked in advance before arrival, June 1st through September 30th.

  • Rain Insurance

    Use promo code RAINCHECK (case sensitive) at checkout Take A Rain Check! Since we are in a “Coastal Temperate Rainforest” it is not uncommon to see rain between October 1st to April 31st. By purchasing Rain Insurance for $15, you will be able to change your reservation up until 72 hours before your arrival to a later date in the off season, if the forecast is calling for “liquid sunshine.” Not purchasing rain insurance will lock you into the normal cancellation policy.
