Rules & Regulations
To make reservations by phone please call during these hours: 10AM to 4PM.
CHECK-IN: 1:00pm Additional fee applies for check-ins before 1:00pm.
CHECK-OUT: 12:00pm additional fees apply for check-out after 12:00pm.
Each site is limited to one camping unit. There will be additional fees for additional units.
Permitted per site: 2 adults; 3 children. Only 2 vehicles permitted per site.
QUIET HOURS: 10:00PM – 8:00AM
SPEED LIMIT: 5 MPH
FIRES: Both charcoal and wood fires are permitted IN FIREPIT ONLY.
PORTA-POTTIES: Dump at the dump station, not in our toilets.
WASTE WATER: In order to comply with Virginia State Health Laws, dumping of waste water on the ground is prohibited! (This includes sink and stored water.)
TRASH: Do not litter. Please use containers provided at various locations throughout the campground. Do not leave trash in your site.
VISITORS: All visitors must register and pay fee upon arrival.
CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times. Do not leave your children unattended on the premises without a responsible adult (age 18+).
PETS
Always keep your pet(s) on short leash of 6ft.
Pick up pet deposits and put in trash can.
Keep inside after dark.
Keep out of buildings, playground, pavilion, and pool area.
Must show proof of current vaccination record.
Keep inside when you will be away from site.
Pets are not permitted in cabins.
Restrictions: No wolf breeds.
IN GENERAL
No smoking permitted in builidings, pavilion, amenity areas, or cabins.
No digging in ground or roads.
No cutting of any living trees or plants.
No washing of RV’s or vehicles.
NO FIREWORKS
No generators running at any time.
No horses or similar animals allowed on property.
No bike riding, skate boarding, skating, or rollerblading on sidewalks.
No golf carts.
Use of alcoholic beverages restricted to your campsite only.
Please do not take the brass fittings from the horse bibs. They are backflow preventers required by VDH They are not water pressure regulators.
No electric bikes or carts.
ALL OTHER COMMON SENSE RULLES APPLY. ANYONE BREAKING THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITHOUT A REFUND.
This campground is privately owned. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for accidents, injuries, loss of property, and loss of valuables.
Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park TM Camp-Resort in Emporia, VA to photograph the visitor while on premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor. The guest assumes all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in rustic outdoors environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking, swimming, or boating at the Camp-Resort or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the Camp-Resort and its owner, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
POOL RULES
WARNING: NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY IN THE POOL AREA. USE AND SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
No diving.
An adult (age 18+) must supervise children 15 years of age and under.
No rowdy behavior; no chicken fights; no flipping.
Enter the water feet first, facing forward.
No food, drinks, or glass in pool area.
No rafts, kickboards, or large swim rings.
No alcoholic beverages (restricted to your campsite only).
No smoking inside the fenced area.
Bathing suits required.
Please use disposable swim diapers on babies.
Management reserves the right to restrict the use of any toy or behavior that management considers a danger or a problem.
