Terms of Service
TRDA reserves the right to revoke this permit with or without cause. In the event that TRDA revokes this permit without cause, then TRDA shall refund to the licensee that amount of the fee which has been paid in advance directly proportionate to the time remaining under the original term. In the event TRDA revokes this permit for violation of the rules, then and in that event, all fees which have been paid in advance shall be forfeited and shall be the property of TRDA. TRDA may ament the Rules and Regulations from time to time, a copy given for each camping permit.
TRDA assumes no liability for personal injury or loss of property. TRDA provides these facilities for your convenience and enjoyment. Please take note of the Rules and Regulations listed below. It is your responsibility to read and abide by these rules. If you have any questions, contact your campground manager. Violation of these rules and regulations is cause for revocation of this permit.
TRDA CAMPGROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS
A 10 MPH speed limit in the campground is to be obeyed.
Important Times:
1. Check-out time is 12:00pm for RV sites and 10:00am for Primitive Cabins. If site is not cleared by check-out time, you will be charged a late check-out fee of $25.00 per each hour.
2. The entrance gate shuts down at 12:00am and restarts at 7:00am. Tampering with security gates in any way or form will not be tolerated.
3. Daytime visitors may enter after 7:00am and must leave the campground no later than 10:00pm.
4. Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 7:00am. No motorized vehicles, including golf cars, should be driven inside the gates during quiet hours. Please respect your fellow camper’s right to a good night sleep.
5. The picnic areas and other day use areas are available for use from 6:00am to 10:00pm. The swimming beach area; however, closes at dusk. No night swimming allowed.
Campsite:
1. Only one motorhome, camper, or travel trailer is permitted on a designated campsite.
2. The number of automobiles and watercraft combined may not exceed two per campsite. This does not include golf carts.
3. RV must be parked within the gravel/concrete site, this includes slide-outs. Slide-outs may not hang over above the grass.
4. Campsites must maintain neat and tidy appearance.
5. The only covers allowed are awnings originally attached to the camper or a small canopy that cannot total more than 10 feet wide, 30 feet long, and 12 feet high. One side of the canopy must remain open at all times. TRDA and/or TVA reserves the right to enter any tent on the campground for inspection.
6. No decks or permanent structures are allowed. If temporary steps or a temporary stoop is required to gain access to an RV, these must be approved in advance by the campground manager and must be no larger than 40 square feet.
7. Satellite dishes may not be in the ground. They may be on a tripod in your gravel/concrete site, not in the grass.
8. Any altering of the dimensions of a site is not permitted. This includes gravel, rock, flowers, plants, signs, etc.
9. Sub-leasing campsites is not allowed.
Pets:
1. All pets must be on a leash and under the control of a registered camper at all times. No pet should be left tied up outside unless they are attended by a camper.
2. Any pet showing signs of aggressive or threating behavior such as growling, snarling, or biting will be removed from the campground immediately.
3. Owners must clean up after their pets and dispose of pet waste in dumpsters or trash receptacles. Not in the lake.
4. Bathhouses and swimming areas are off limits to animals.
Visitors and Children:
1. Campers are responsible for the conduct of children and visitors. Children must be under the care and attention of an adult at all times and may not be left at the campground unattended.
2. Only those with a valid driver’s license may operate motorized vehicles in the campground. Golf carts must obey the same rules as automobiles, including traffic flow on one-way roads.
3. Registered campers are allowed to have visitors as long as the total number of campers plus visitors does not exceed six people over night per site. The campground manager may limit the number of day time visitors allowed as circumstances dictate. The registered camper is responsible for their guest following ALL rules.
4. Visitors must park in parking lots, if the campsite already has the max of two items parked on the site.
5. No overnight visitors are allowed unless accompanied by the registered camper.
Watercraft:
1. Watercraft and watercraft trailers brought to the campground must be kept in docks/slips or designated parking areas if campsite already has two vehicles. Campers and visitors must register their watercraft with the office and receive a tag that must be attached to the watercraft trailer while in the campground.
2. No shuttling of guest or campers by boat is permitted.
3. No watercraft may be moored/secured or anchored to the shoreline at any time.
Fires:
1. Do not burn garbage.
2. Fires shall be confined to fireplaces, grills, or other appropriate facilities where provided. Campers shall use reasonable care in handling campfires.
3. Do not burn wood with nails, screws, or staples.
Prohibited:
1. Do not park in the grass. The grass is considered common area. No objects are allowed to remain in the grass when not in use. All items are to be on your gravel or concrete site when the mowing crew arrives.
2. All refrigerators and appliances must be kept inside your camper. They are not allowed outside your camper.
3. No open or closed utility trailers are permitted on the campground.
4. Alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, firearms, and fireworks are prohibited.
5. Wandering through another’s campsite or boat will not be tolerated. Vandalism and disrespect for another person’s property will be cause for having to leave the campground.
6. No campsite will be rented to anyone under the age of 21. Campers under 21 years old must be at their campsite by 11:00pm unless accompanied by an adult.
7. No motorhome, camper, or travel trailer is permitted in any parking lot.
8. The operation or use of any motorized vehicle or noise producing device of any kind which unreasonably disturbs, annoys, or endangers any person is prohibited. No ATV’s are allowed, including side by sides and motorized golf carts.
9. Use of trees to hang any object is prohibited. Do not cut, damage, or drive nails into trees or shrubs. Clotheslines and/or cables tied to trees are not permitted.
10. Washing dishes in a bathhouse is not permitted.
11. Please do not feed the geese or ducks.
12. Absolutely no draining of grey water or sewage onto the ground.
Breaking any of these rules will result in an incident report being filed and/or being removed from the campground.
Report all disturbances to the campground manager.
