Terms of Service

1.  SPEED LIMIT is 5 MPH throughout the entire park.

2.     There is 24-hour surveillance on the property to ensure the safety of our guests as well as the security of our facilities.  Entrance to the park authorizes the recording of every guest and the use of information if prosecution is necessary.

3.     PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR DOG: this is her home.  Please do not bring your furbaby into the office at any time.  She thanks you in advance for your kindness.

4.     LEAVE NO TRACE: “Take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footprints. Please do not leave anything that wasn’t there when you arrived, including firewood.

 

We will be accepting food donations for a food pantry located in Cotter.  For every 6 non-perishable, UNEXPIRED food items that are donated, one bundle of wood will be given to the guest.  We offer one bundle of wood per site/ per reservationThis food will be donated to a local primary care provider’s office to be given to those in need.  PLEASE do not donate expired food; people in need deserve the same quality food that anyone else eats. 😊

 

5.     OCCUPANCY: Each site may have 5 guests and 3 pets. 

6.     VISITORS:  All visitors must register at the office.  There is a $5 fee for each visitor per day and a $10 fee for overnight visitors for each night they stay.  Monthly guests, please speak with staff about this.

7.     QUIET HOURS are from10pm-8am.

8.     POND: the pond is for our registered guests only. No pets in the water.

9.     CHECK-IN begins after 3pm.  Please call the office if you plan to arrive after dark. 

10.  CHECK-OUT is before 11. Please speak with management if you need to check out after that.  Late departures are subject to a $30 late check-out fee.

11.  Sites are Non-transferable.  Whoever the reservation is for, must make the reservation; family/ friends cannot make a reservation for someone else or give a reservation to someone else.

12.  BABY WIPES: Please do not flush them down the toilet.  If the package says they are flushable or septic/ sewer safe, they aren’t.  These items have caused considerable problems with our septic system.  Please put them in the trash can

13.  CIGARETTE BUTTS:  This is becoming an increasing problem at the campground.  Please snuff them out and throw them in the trash/ dumpster

14.  PARKING/ DRIVING IN THE GRASS:  Please do not park or drive on the grass on an RV site or at a cabin. Staff works hard to keep the campground looking amazing for everyone to have an great experience.

15.  EMPTY SITES:  Do not park on an empty site. 

16.  TENTS: No tents

17.  MATS No mats on the grass. 

18.  RESTROOMS: There is a men’s and women’s shower house on the lower level in the A-section.  There is a bathroom, no shower, on the upper level behind the office.   Please clean up after yourselves.

19.  No ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, dirt bikes, scooters, or golf carts.

20.  PARTIES:  Please see management if you would like to host a gathering with more guests than the site permits, which is 5.

21.  FIREARMS/ WEAPONS which include, but are not limited to, BB guns, pellet guns, slingshots, bow and arrows, crossbows, shotguns, rifles, handguns, may not be visible to our guests.

22.  SMOKING is not permitted in, rec center, shower house, bathrooms, laundry room, office or the cabins, or within 25’ of a cabin.  If there is smoking in a cabin, the registered guest will be fined $150 for cleaning, and you will be ejected from the park with no refund.

23.  FIREWORKS are not permitted in the park.                                                 

24.  FIRE PITS are not to be moved or used as a trashcan. 

25.  REC CENTER is available to our registered guests. Children under 13 must always have their parent/ guardian present.  No food or drinks.

26.  BOAT DOCK is available free of charge to our registered guests, and it is on a first-come-first-serve basis. 

27.  COLD WEATHER:  Some months can have very cold nights.  When the temperature is below freezing, 30*, someone from management will come to each site to turn off the water at the hydrant and disconnect the water hose from the hydrant.  Please do not reconnect the hose until the temperature is above freezing.  We are incredibly sorry for any inconvenience this might cause but please understand that to replace a hydrant cost $250, which will be billed to the registered guest.

28.  PET POLICY:

·         Pets must always be on a physical leash.  They are not permitted to roam free.  The leash law is strictly enforced. If a dog is off leash, you will be told to leave the park with no refund. 

·         They must not be tied out or left in a fenced area unattended.  Please do not tie them to the pedestal or the hydrant.

·         Any pet, regardless of size, that displays aggressive behavior, attacks another animal/ guest or child must be removed from the park immediately.

·         No pets in the office, restrooms, laundry room, shower house, or rec center. 

·         No pets in the cabins.  If a pet is found to be in a cabin for any reason, the registered guest will be ejected from the park with no refund.  You will also be fined $100 per pet per day that the pet was in the cabin, and you will be fined $150 for cleaning.

·         No pets in the pond.

·         Please quiet your dog if it is barking.  Continuous barking is disruptive to other guests.

·         Please clean up after your pet both when walking them and at your site.  There are several pet waste stations throughout the park for your convenience.  

29.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or eject anyone for any reason. There is no refund if you are ejected. If you are ejected, you have 30 minutes to be off the premises.

30.  There are no refunds after check-in, including partial refunds.  There are no refunds for any reason including, but not limited to, the weather, no water, no electricity, no WiFi, family emergency, trouble with your rig/ tow vehicle, or any vehicle, the bathroom isn't up to your standards, or any other amenity that you believe isn't up to your standards etc.  There are no refunds for any reason after check-in.

31.  Cancellation policy: We do not offer refunds; either full or partial if the reservation is cancelled.  Refunds are not given to credit cards, debit cards, or cash for any reason which includes, but is not limited to, weather, emergencies, trouble with a vehicle/ rig, or change in plans, surgery etc. 

32.  By signing, you agree that you have read, understand, and agree to follow all 32 policies. You also authorize White River Campground & Cabins to charge your credit/ debit card for reservation fees, charges made in the store, any service fee when a reservation is cancelled, late check-out fees, early check-in fees and it authorizes the campground to charge for any damages incurred by the guest, their children, their pets, or any visitors they have.  It also authorizes management to charge any pet fees the registered guest, or their visitor's pets, may incur. By signing this, you have read, and acknowledge that we do not provide refunds for any reason, whether a reservation is cancelled, or after check-in.  Lastly, it allows the campground to charge the card on file for the last electric bill if you leave without paying it.         

WAIVER OF LIABILITY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

      The undersigned (“camper”) recognizes that there are inherent risks involved in camping and camping activities. Camper understands that he/ she has a duty to exercise reasonable care for the Camper’s own safety and the safety of those for whom the Camper is responsible.  From this time forward, White River Campground & Cabins will be referred to as WRC&C.

1.     Release of Liability.  Camper RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE, WRC&C or their directors, officers, agents, employees, or insurance carriers from any loss, damage, claim, or demand whatsoever, including any such claims relating to injury or loss to the person or property of Camper or resulting in the death of Camper, whether caused by the negligence of WRC&C or otherwise while the Camper is in or upon the Campground and/ or participating in any Campground activity.

2.     Indemnification.  Camper agrees to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS WRC&C and their directors, officers, agents, employees and insurance carriers from any loss, liability, damage, or cost they may incur due to the presence of Camper in or upon the Campground, including, but not limited to, any and all damages, loss, theft, destruction of personal property or vehicle or any damage attributable in any way caused in or upon the Campground.

3.     Damages or lossesNeither WRC&C nor their directors, officers, employees, agents, or insurers, shall be responsible to Camper for any loss, damage, or claim related to any actual or alleged defect in any part of the Campground.  Camper assumes all liability or responsibility for any acts of any third person, including other Campers, or Guests of Campers of the Campground.  Camper ASSUMES FULL RESPONSIBILTY FOR THE RISK OF BODILY INJURY, DEATH OR PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE.

4.     Notification.  Camper shall promptly notify WRC&C of any and all accidents.  Camper shall provide full details concerning the damage or accident.  Camper shall forward to WRC&C a copy of every Demand, Notice, Summons, or other Process received in connection with any and all claims, suits, or other legal proceedings resulting from any accident or damage in or upon WRC&C.

5.     Entire Agreement. There are no oral agreements, and this Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between parties and shall be binding on their heirs, executors, administrators, and their legal representatives, successors, and assigns.

6.     Minors. Each Camper executing this Agreement intends to be legally bound by this Agreement as well as to bind each and every minor attending with such Camper.
